Jennifer Dean: Its a fun and exciting adventure for sure. However the prices definitely arent going down. In fact they are only going up. Thats my only complaint. Every year they add something new. This year they already have about 3 new rides they are working on now and that is not including the water park !! It was not open yet when we visited april 2025. During the week is not as busy and lines are not as long of a wait for rides. Here are just a few fun things in the videos. I do recommend buying tickets in advance online and be sure to read everything good before you complete purchase. It will save you money for sure. They have concerts, holiday events, birthday partys, family reunions, catering you event or get together, etc... many options. If you wanna enjoy the water park it usually dont open until May for the summer.

StevePotts: A fantastic collection of historic items from the 18th, 19th & 20th Century. The many old buildings have been restored nicely and are filled with relics of the times. These include a depot, Post Office, school, house, barn, a turpentine still and more. Theres a lot to see!

Sharon So: This particular park has been on our bucket list for almost 20 years. After losing our fur child a while back, we decided now was the time for some inner peace and talking to Jesus through natures tranquility. Our stay in the Yurt has been just what we expected and all we need right now. Theyre very clean with comfortable beds and the bathhouse is as well. Looking forward to some fishing tomorrow in the beautiful lake.
Jim-Ree African American Museum - Elberton
Yu Gu: This museum is a gem among gems. We got a tour with Jimmy White. What a great way to learn about African American history through a rich and storied local lens. This family-run museum is doing the important work of preservation and education. Visits are currently by appointment only through their website, but hopefully the museum will expand their hours and activities as we move through the pandemic. A must-visit!

A Jo: Nice, easy, flat trail with a nice view of the lake from every angle. This is the perfect place to bring family, as a couple, or solo to get outside and feel like youre away from town. Its like an oasis in the middle of Hinesville. I wish people would be more considerate and not throw trash into the lake. But all in all, this place is well maintained, safe, and beautiful. The bathrooms are well kept as well.

Crystal Glidwell: Got married recently at the "group shelter." It was an amazing & beautiful building & area! Inside is a full kitchen with trash cans & bathrooms. Has a nice back deck area. Surrounded by forest & a river or lake. The playground was near. Not only did i get married here, but I also had my reception there! The price was amazing for what you get here! I recommend this park! Has cabins, camping, rv, and more!
Blue ridge pier - Blue Ridge
Amy Sullins: I wouldnt call this a pier. Signs up not to enter or get towed. Were from out of town and just wanted to look at the water. Not very eye appealing either.
