1 /5 Grace Tallman Johnson: DO NOT CONTACT THIS MECHANIC! We were taken for several thousand dollars with no repair ever being performed. They were stealing and selling our catalytic converter(s).
Originally we were told we needed sensors. Then there were many other things we were told that we needed and of course they could only take cash (Zelle, etc.). He had a car for weeks and never fixed it. When we finally were told it was finished and we got in the car to leave we were told the car would not go over 25-30 miles an hour. “You really need to gun it because it doesn’t accelerate past 25 miles unless you floor it,” said KC. The car overheated after one mile on Highway. We towed car to the KIA dealership and once there learned KC had taken our car there. He showed up quickly after we arrived and said he had brought it that dealer and had a print out to give us which confirmed the car was in good working order. Once he arrived, it was obvious to us that something was going on with him and the service department of the dealership. But between the two of them our car never got repaired. However, we were told all three catalytic coveters were bad. We will both be leaving a review for the dealership as well.
This review is being done for the sole purpose of helping others to avoid the scam and the deception. Your car will not be fixed and you will pay an exorbitant amount.
