5 /5 Mary Aides: Just want to say thank you to A Better Day Dental for their excellent treatment and care. Recently I had to have a crown replaced and was worried that I could lose the tooth; however, Dr. Hugh took so much time and care. I left the office in about two hours with a new crown that fit so well and looked fabulous! Everyone makes you feel so comfortable. The hygienist is wonderful. I have been going to Dr. Hugh for years and have never known him or his staff to be anything but caring and wanting the best possible outcome for you.

5 /5 Shannon Kill: We absolutely LOVE everyone here. Our 4 year old talks about going to the dentist weeks before he appointment, if thats any indication. Not to mention- we moved from Newnan to Locust Grove close to two years ago and we still make the hour+ drive to Newnan for all of our dentist appointments. Literally everyone at this location very obviously loves what they do. They make everyone feel welcome and important. Never mind that they do quality dental care ;) My husband and I have both had to have a few dental procedures done here and have never dealt with repeat issues since seeing Dr. Hugh and they all really encourage maintaining healthy habits, so we havent gained any new issues since we found them several years ago either. We recommend them 100% to anyone.

Jay Lackey: The woman that did my consultation was very nice, so this review is more about the company itself than anything. I went to a consultation that took about an hour to complete, most of it being a tour of the facility, some Q and A, and a pretty lengthy video they have you watch that actually kinda scares the crap out of you and pretty much tells you having bad teeth leads to a shorter life. All that being said, this is an extremely scummy company. They have a calculated way of getting your hopes up and making it seem like theyre willing to help you out, only to quote an absolutely insane amount of money. More than most people make in a year. About 50 grand. The greed is INSANE. Nobody has that kind of money laying around, and the payment on a loan that size would be the same as a vehicle payment. Most of us are struggling to buy food. On top of this they do not take dental insurance. Corporate greed and exploitative healthcare in America is getting WAY out of hand. Its disheartened me from looking for help altogether. I just stay in my house and Ive given up on trying to find a dentist that actually cares about other human beings. It took a lot for me to make that appointment. Never again. Apparently only rich people deserve to have teeth.

Donna McDonnell: Up until a week ago, I couldnt say enough positive things about this practice (except the one Dentist I saw) Over the past 2 years we have been going to Wheat since we moved to Newnan, we have had a lot of work done and have spent thousands of dollars. Recently, I had a route canal and they were prepping me for a bridge that would also involve that same tooth. The cost out of pocket, after what was left of my insurance this year, was $1600.00. I offered to put half down and pay the other half off in a 6 month period. I offered my debit or credit card for auto pay. The office manager went back and forth between me and the dentist, who I will not personally name, (but should) he (the dentist) would not accept my offer. They wanted it paid off in 3 months, I told him honestly, that is too much for us right now (almost 300.00 a month). The office manager said they just dont do pymt plans (other then care credit) which I already have and have used some (interest is high). Weeks ago, when they advised me of this treatment plan, I told the gal who runs the insurance and works with you and advises on you on your treatment plan, that I could not afford that lump sum at one time. She told me she would talk to the Dr. And see what she could do and get back to me, which she never did. Until the Friday before My Monday appt they are calling to confirm. I of course at that time assumed that we could work a plan out. I was wrong. My point here, is that they do make pymt arrangements with some, not all. Let me say also, that we were always in good standing with them. Never falling behind on paying them. But it was never more then a few hundred that we would owe, most times we were just paying them in full at the time of service. Bottom line, Dr would not work with me on this pymt plan. Again, I offered 800.00 down. Never in my life have I dealt with such a uncaring Dr/Dentist. Why he was not willing to work with my husband and I is a mystery. He has done extensive work on my husband. Me, I just was getting started on the big work. He chose not to work it out, when I know for fact, they make arrangements. They pick and choose who they want to make arrangements with and I think its wrong. I loved most everyone there (Kelly, Amy, Kelly the hygienist) all the admin gals ) except the Dr. Always cold and unfriendly. I could tell you another unpleasant experience I had with him doing my root canal, but wont because it doesnt even matter st this point, he was just cold hearted. He is a jerk. They claim they care and that they know some people are apprehensive when it comes to dental work and how they will be gentle and kind and caring. Well him, not so much. I will not be using their services anymore. There are plenty of great Dental Practices out there that will care and will work with us.
