Biguelyn severely damaged my hair during the appointment. She cut it without consent, burned my scalp, and placed my head in an uncomfortable position throughout the process. Black women, I strongly advise against going to this stylist and salon. I have proof and receipts. This business lacks integrity.
Roots Salon & Company - Athens Debi Pratt: Since moving to Athens I have been getting my hair done by Mary Frances. She is absolutely AMAZING. She is good with color. She is great with cuts. She can do every kind of extension there is. She is so very good at her craft..you immediately have trust and respect for her skills. She has always been great when it comes to my crazy wants vs the reality of what can be done. She is creative to match her ability. 5 stars to her and 5 stars to the salon.
New Look Salon - Athens Cindy Myers: this place is wonderful. i got my eyebrows threaded here, and i was in and out in less than 10 minutes. she was super sweet, quick, and did a great job. i will definitely be returning.
HeavenSent Creative Salon - Jonesboro Christina C: I took a lash course with Ms. Rachel and it was amazing! First, she was very accommodating, I wasnāt feeling well the day of the course and she allowed me to come back and complete my modelās lash set at a later date after we completed the theory.
She was also kind, patient and a great instructor. You can tell she is very passionate about what she does and truly wants you to leave the class feeling like you have and know as much as you can to get started on your journey. She also offers a mentorship program after the class which I am so grateful for, so if you have any questions or need something clarified you can reach out for guidance.
It was such a great experience honestly, thank you Ms. Rachel!!

Queens Dominican Hair Salon - Jonesboro Nina V.: Today was my first time visiting āQueen Dominican Salonā and it definitely wonāt be my last! Stephanie styled my hair and trimmed my ends to perfection! The shampoo was lovely and the two ladies kept everything running smoothly like a well oiled machine! The prices are extremely reasonable and the location is very convenient! The shop was clean and I would definitely recommend this establishment to others! Keep up the great work ladies!
Narcisse Salon - Jonesboro Sibongile B.N. Lynch: Tanya and her staff are are talented, friendly, and professional. The salon is pristine, and I always love the natural styles I get. The stylists there are knowledgeable about haircare, and many different textures; natural, pressed, relaxed, sew-ins, childrens haircare, braiding, etc. And, they dont over charge!

Pamper Me Total Beauty Spa - Jonesboro MsTish: I came for the ultimate package at this spa that is such a hidden gem and I was purely satisfied. From the cleanliness, the welcome, the tea, the foot detox, to the body scrub, the massage and facial. Literally everything was good. All the specialist were kind and asked preferences, hit every spot and did amazing. I purchased facial treatment and hair growth products at the end and I have even enjoyed those. This a woman black business that you must support !
Paulinas Hair Salon & African - Jonesboro Samanda Bryant Hagan: I got my hair done there last week, crochet braids. Ive never been there before. I just found them online. I was so impressed! I had a fantastic experience. I made an appointment the day before in-person. I was in the chair in less than 5min of my arrival time. My stylist (Isha) was wonderful. She made sure she was styling according to my wishes. My braids werent too tight. She even educated me about some issues I was having with my hair! The best part...the price point was very reasonable. The ONLY reason I didnt give the salon 5 stars is because they dont take cards--its a cash-only business. If thats not a deal-breaker for you, you should definitely check out this shop!
