1 /5 Makala Smith-roden: This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at an auto repair facility a more, if I could rate in the negatives, I would. I dropped my vehicle off when they opened at 8 am for an oil change, tire rotation, 4-wheel tire alignment, and a tire repair in my rear driver side tire that was leaking air from a nail. I was told I would receive a call when they were finished and it would be done that day. 1 pm rolled by, no phone call. 3 pm rolled by, no phone call. By the 3 PM time point, and 8 hours having passed, I decided to give them a call to see if there were any hiccups with any of the maintenance that I had asked for because I felt it shouldn’t take that long and it had put my entire day on hold having no vehicle. I was told he needed to check on my vehicle and he’d call me back. About 10 minutes later, I received a phone call from him telling me that my truck had just gotten put on the rack, that it had been a busy day and they couldn’t get to it until now. That seemed absolutely outrageous to me considering I dropped it off when they opened and it was pretty “routine” maintenance that I asked for. About 30 minutes later I received A phone call stating that my vehicle is ready for pick up, but that they cannot complete the tire alignment or the tire rotation due to the condition of my tires and that I would need new tires. This meant I waited nine hours for an oil change and a tire repair! If I wanted an oil change done, I could have went to a drive thru oil change facility, but it gets worse. I go to pick up the vehicle, and while I was thankful they did not charge me for my tire repair, I found out that was for the best. I got in my truck with the tire pressure still low, I got in my truck with the tire at 34 PSI (It should’ve been at 37 PSI). This was 4:30 pm. By 8:30 pm, the tire pressure had dropped again, now to 29 PSI. I was pretty irritated that it was obvious that the tire repair was not done correctly or was not performed at all, I found out later. It seems that it was performed incorrectly. I filled my tire up to 37 PSI at around 9 pm that night. By the next night at 8 pm, my tire pressure had dropped to 22 PSI! This was absolutely insane as before when I had the nail inside of my tire, I would only lose about two PSI a day and now I am loosing about 15 PSI a day and am terrified to drive my own vehicle. I have made an appointment for tomorrow to have the new four tires I purchased, from Firestone today, installed. If anybody manages to read to the end of this post, do not go here if you care about your time or your safety.
