4 /5 Jazzy B: This was my first visit here. I had visited a sister campus in Ponce. I had a bad experience there, so I went to a different dentist. It ended up being that they were related. But the staff here are so much better. My dental hygienist, Tamara, was gentle, empathetic, and friendly. It was honestly the best cleaning experience Ive ever had in my entire life. She didnt yell at me. She didnt make me feel bad. She didnt ridicule me. All of these things always happen to me at the dentist. I know I have pretty bad teeth. I also know Im doing a pretty lousy job caring for them. I live a stressful life, so teeth arent always my priority, as they should be. But she didnt make me feel bad about how I care for my teeth, which was very important to me. She offered suggestions on improving the quality of my care for my teeth. And the dentist was very friendly and very chill. They were all very laid back and very chill. There is no intensity at all. I highly recommend this place due to the comfort and safety I found. They were a little expensive, but I think they were worth the price. It took them a while to find my X-rays, as they had technical problems. This is not a paid review or endorsement.

5 /5 Darius Thomas: I had a fantastic experience at Edgewood Smiles Dentistry with Dr. Jazmyne Walker. She was incredibly kind, patient, and thorough in explaining the dental work I needed, breaking everything down step by step so I could fully understand the process. It’s clear that she is passionate about ensuring her patients achieve not only a beautiful smile but also a healthy one. During my visit, I had a teeth cleaning, a root canal, and a crown. While I don’t typically enjoy dental visits, Dr. Walker made me feel genuinely cared for and at ease throughout the entire process. Additionally, the front desk staff were amazing. They efficiently handled all of my paperwork and made the check-in process seamless. Josh, in particular, was very friendly and helpful, both over the phone before my appointment and when I arrived at the office. I highly recommend Edgewood Smiles Dentistry for anyone looking for a professional, welcoming, and patient-focused dental experience!

5 /5 Hanane Elmastour: I had a wonderful experience with Edgewood Dentistry Smile. Everyone there was very friendly—from the front desk staff to Dr. Tina, the dentist. It was truly unforgettable, especially because I used to have a phobia of dentists. Out of the four dentists Ive had, both in this state and back home in Morocco, Dr. Tina is by far the best. I strongly recommend this clinic to everyone.

5 /5 Jay Williams: Dr. Walker is wonderful! I hate the dentist normally but I had a tooth ache and had no choice but to go. I went in for an emergency appointment and was seen pretty quickly so I’m not sure what the other reviews are about. Josh was the dental assistant that took my X-rays and he was very pleasant to work with as well. Dr. Walker was so thorough, gentle, and made sure to explain my treatment to me. I have never been to a dentist where they actually take their time with you and care. I didn’t feel like just another patient, Dr. Walker made me feel very at home. I was told I needed a root canal and crown. I didn’t feel the shot at all and that was the part I was most afraid of. I got all my treatment done the same day and left finally being able to chew on the side of my mouth I’ve been avoiding. Anyway Dr. walker is definitely my dentist for life! I’ll be referring my family to her as well.

1 /5 Troy Hempfield: This place is a money grab. Went there because my previous dentist stopped carrying my insurance and they accepted it and it is close to me. They told me I needed gum grafting, scheduled an appointment with their periodontist who comes in monthly, said it was necessary. Paid out of pocket to get a second opinion at a "real" periodontist practice and was told it was not necessary. Went there for regular cleaning and was told I need "deep cleaning" for 4 treatments (250 bucks each time instead of my much cheaper typical copay). Went to a new dentist after that, they said the deep cleaning was unecessary. Also edgewood smiles put a filling in (i havent needed one since the 80s) and it fell out within 2 weeks (I didnt think I needed it, should have gotten a second opinion. They also told me that may have to pull that tooth- new dentist said it was fine after repairing their botched filling). Had new dentist i loved, got new company insurance they did not accept so i figured Id give Edgewood Smiles another shot hoping they got their shit together. They did not. I scheduled a regular cleaning, arrived at the office, was told I "needed" the deep cleaning for 250 bucks again. Funny how my previous very professional dentist didnt try to scam / upscale me. I told them I just wanted the regular cleaning, they said the dentist had to verify that by doing the gum measurement thing. Thats when I told them I was leaving, took my bib off and walked out. Go somewhere else, this place is unprofessional and tries to get your money. Highly do NOT recommend this place.
