2 /5 Kitkat 02: First time going here and I was able to get an appointment pretty quickly. Everything was great until my cleaning. The dental hygienist did a wonderful job cleaning between and around my lower teeth but never touched my molars. Then she took tool that sprayed water around and between all of my teeth and that was it. That was the entire service. She didn’t clean my molars or the entire top of my mouth. I’ve never had a hygienist do that. When she asked if I had any concerns I asked why she didn’t clean my molars and she went on about how to brush my teeth with an electric tooth brush (huh????) I need to know if this is standard procedure, if they can just do a half ass job and only clean literally half of your mouth. I guess I need to call and get another appointment for them to finish because I’ve never had an issue like this before. I was nice and left but left feeling defeated and confused.

By far the best dental office in town, they maintain a super clean environment from the entrance to every room. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making each visit feel like being with extended family. All of the dentists are gentle and truly care about your comfort, and I’ve been thrilled with how amazing my smile looks. Plus, their pricing is very affordable. Katie Campos: I had an appointment scheduled for my 3 year old (this would be her third visit) at her last appointment she was scheduled by the staff before I left for her 6 month follow up appointment. I get a text to confirm her appointment a few days before, as well as a telephone the day of her appointment to confirm. A few minutes later I get a phone call from their office saying they would have to cancel due to "policy" they cannot see anyone under the age of 8 in the afternoon. I told them to please let us come this time at least due to time being taken off of work and schedules rearranged for this appointment (we live an hour away from Hinesville). They refused, and would only reschedule. I was informed by Melissa that their doctor will not see younger patients in the afternoon due to behavior issues with younger kids. ( I have 3 children-mine behave the same all day) I told her that the doctor may can afford to take off from work, but normal people in this economy like us cannot. A whole day of work missed due to their mistake, and they would not budge on their "policy". I have now cancelled any future appointments for my three children and have been in contact with Surfside kids dentistry.

I have 4 children and they always schedule the kids together to make it easier for me, as well as allow my other child to come to the appointments. They heal my inner childhood trauma when it comes to dentists, my young kids feel safe and we all know they are in great hands! The women at the front desk all the way to the back are always wonderful and pleasant to speak with and work with. uz2bshya30: Poor communication skills. I took my son in for a “consultation”. We were led to a room where a video was played. Afterwards a man (I guess was the doc because he never introduced himself) walked in and asked, “do you have any questions about the video?” I said no. He walked out and shortly there after a lady with a clipboard walks in to schedule an appointment to remove 4 wisdom teeth. My son and I are sitting there like what just happpend… He did not go over the x-ray, he did not explain options, just “do you have questions over the video?” I guess he was Dr. Clayton but I have no way of knowing since he never identified himself to us which I thought was pretty rude.
