1 /5 Kael Austin: Im a homeless man whos traveling, I go to church every Sunday, Saturday night I couldnt find a place to sleep so I went to a church because Im a Christian and the house of god is usually the only place people dont judge and hate me. I woke up to the pastor yelling at me, telling me Im lost and my lifestyles bad, before I could tell him Im trying to attend church hes on the phone demanding law enforcement, he didnt ask me if I wanted to hear about god or anything, just abject fear and apprehension, gave me a display of disgust and wrath, judgement and pride. The spirit of god cannot be found in churches full of lukewarm believers, Christians are fisherman of people and of the hundreds of churches Ive slept at this was one of 2 that ever acted like this. Most of the time they ask you what you are doing, I explain why Im there and that Id liked to attend service and they welcome me in.
This church doesnt want the homeless or rough around, they arent looking for the lost or sinners, they want their safe insidery community club and are afraid of clear oppurtunities to spread the gospel of our lord and savior Jesus Christ
