1 /5 Karen Edwards: I am writing for the first time because I was deeply disappointed with my most recent experience. I have been a long time customer with this company. I have referred several friend and family members to this company over past 10+ years. You could not have told me that I would have had a unsatisfying experience at this store.
So. last week my vehicle, stopped working. I called and asked the company to replace the alternator and battery. As in the past, I got a call stating what was wrong. I was told that it was just the battery and that it was replaced. So, I paid for the service and went on my way as I did in the past. But this time my vehicle stopped working again in less than 20 minutes of my leaving the store. I called the store and asked if the car was put on the machine. I was told no, and that their job was only to get the vehicle running again. But obviously the vehicle was not running. About an hour later, I called again and told the attendant that the alternator was smoking. I was ignored and told that it was coming from an oil leak. My question was how do you know where it was coming from and you cannot see the car or its engine. To make a long story short my concerns were ignored by the attendant but even more importantly I felt that if the store would have done what the customer (me) asked all of this could have been avoided. I also felt like their lack of a full diagnosis of my vehicle put my life in jeopardy. If I had made it to the highway and my vehicle stopped in the middle of the traffic, I may have been seriously hurt. And yes, I took the alternator off and three auto part stores told me the alternator was burt.
In the future please pay attention to your customers, your lack of effort may just save their life.
