05-2025 Augusta Family Dental Medical District, Dr. Deborah Makerson in Best 19 Dental Clinics and Dentists in Augusta, GA You Can Rely OnWestmoreland Family Dentistry - Augusta Corliss Simmons: Dr. Westmoreland and his staff are the best ever!!! I was so nervous when I first became a patient. The office building is so clean from the front to the back. The staff makes you feel so welcome and they speak encouraging words to make you feel comfortable. I will most definitely continue to receive my dental work from Dr. Westmoreland. He is AWESOME!!
Central Dentistry and Implants- George B. Hall, DMD - Augusta tequila Crawford: I havent been to the dentist in over 10 years because of anxiety issues. I had the BEST EXPERIENCE, and the ENTIRE OFFICE makes you feel like FAMILY! THERE isnt a wait, SO DONT BE LATE!! HE GIVES YOU ONE ON ONE ATTENTION, and INFORMS you about everything they do. The dental hygienist is GREAT, his assistant is a DARLING, but the lady at the front desk is a total DOLL! I have finally found my family dentist, hes been practicing for 30 years, and hes a one stop shop. I totally recommend this office if you have ANXIETY, theyll even hold your hand!!! ❤️
Oh, hes also the 1st doctor to ever CALL YOU AFTER HOURS TO MAKE SURE YOURE DOING OKAY !! Dr. Hall youre the BEST, MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS you, and your practice!!!

Augusta Endodontic Center - Augusta Cynthia Dunn: If I could give more than five stars, I would without hesitation! Dr. Ngoh and his team are outstanding in every way. From the moment you step through the door, you’re met with warmth, kindness, and genuine care. Although no one looks forward to a root canal, their professionalism, compassion, and attention to comfort turned the experience into something unexpectedly positive. I wholeheartedly recommend this office to anyone in need of Endodontic care!!! you’ll be in the best hands.
Jason H. Lee, DMD - Martinez Mike Thomas: The dental team at Dr. Lee’s office is terrific! I was greeted by Miss Jessica and Miss Kim and had a great time talking and learning about the area with them. I just recently moved to Georgia. Sam cleaned my teeth and did a wonderful job! Dr. Lee came in and really examined my teeth thoroughly. I told him my concerns and he took pictures and explained to me what was going on and the treatment plan to fix them. Great Dr.! Great Staff! Fantastic Dental Center! Will definitely recommend.
Varnell Gaines DMD PC - Augusta Tiara Bennett: I will never return to this clinic. I called last Monday to schedule an emergency appointment for Saturday the 26th. I was told there would be a $50 emergency fee and that everything else would be billed to my insurance. However, when I arrived, I was hit with nearly $400 in upfront charges — $50 for the emergency fee, $295 for an X-ray, and an additional out-of-pocket fee for the tooth extraction.
To make matters worse, when I called back today to ask for clarification on their pricing, the young woman who answered the phone didn’t seem to know the fees and vaguely said, “I think tooth removals start at $400 per tooth.” I was so frustrated by the lack of professionalism and clarity that I hung up. This entire experience felt like a joke, and I will absolutely not be returning.
Thielke Morris Family Dentistry - Augusta Warren Brown: I had a great experience at my dental visit. From the moment I walked in, the receptionist was welcoming and friendly, which immediately helped ease my nerves. My dentist took the time to explain everything clearly before starting any procedure.
The entire staff genuinely cared about how I was feeling. It made a big difference, especially since I usually get anxious at the dentist. I really appreciated the calm and professional atmosphere. I highly recommend Morris Family Dentistry.
Blalock Dental, formerly Augusta Family Dental Group - Augusta Leigh: I am sad to leave this review, but feel it is necessary. I switched to Dr Blalock around 2019 ish. At the time I had high anxiety and I really thought I had found the answer to my problems. He took over my care for several years, until problems began. The last crown I had fitted by this office, a hygenist hit my tongue with the drill and was so harsh with the numbing shots that I had 7 ulcers in my mouth on top of the giant ulcer going down my tongue from that injury. The person that fitted my crown also overfilled the substance that went down my throat and i had to sit there gagging and could hardly breath while it solidified. The whole experience was traumatizing, resulting in me needing to rotate OTC pain meds and magic mouthwash for almost 2 weeks because i was in so much pain.
I knew at this point that I was uncertain on continuing services, and began shopping for a new dentist, but what really drove the departure home was when this office decided to go out of network completely, but chose not to say anything until AFTER services were rendered for my family.
Well, here we are 3 years and 3 months later, and my crown from that traumatizing tooth with horrible hygienist is completely broken down the back. My new dentist informed me it has to be 5 years for insurance to cover anything. So I call Dr. Blalocks office, and the new "office manager" has now informed me that there is no warranty and they will not do anything about the crown being broken because she accused me of "not coming back" to have my guard refitted. She was looking for any reason to not fix it, it seems, because that is a really bold accusation to blatantly throw out there when I have been under the care of another dentist for quite some time and paid out of pocket for a new bite guard that fit differently and more comfortably.
I am just very disapointed. I left quietly after those previous incidents because I felt Dr. Blalock, himself, was a great dentist, and I didnt want to say anything about hiccups in staffs handling of my care, but this was the icing on the cake to come back and say something because now i am having to pay out of pocket for a new crown because that porcelain crown only lasted 3 years.
Brittingham Dentistry LLC - Augusta Robin Faulkner: The 3-stars are only because the staff encountered has been pleasant; however, in terms of patient time management and product delivery it would be one star. Case in point, my mother has been awaiting a dental implant for the last 5-6 months that to date she has not receive. For appointments the waiting period is, at times, too long before the actual treatment begins. There is no regard for a patients time. Its been my personal experience of being placed in a treatment room with the feeling of being forgotten because thats how long I waited. Further, if it takes so long for their supplier to deliver dental implants perhaps they need a new one because it certainly doesnt benefit the patient. The risk is by the time the dental implant is delivered it may not fit because the teeth have shifted during the wait. Again, nice staff just wish they practiced better service delivery accountability.
