2 /5 Amy Guy: I typically never leave reviews, this was my first time going to Andys Garage and will not be going back or recommending anyone to this company in the future. I took my car here 07/11/25 to have my AC looked at. I was told it would be $155.00 fee to diagnosis the car, I was okay with this. A few hours later that day I got several messages regarding other things that needed to be done to my vehicle that I never went there for in the first place. I did however approve to get tie rods replaced as I know this is safety issue and I was fine paying the $387.86 I was charged along with another $119.95 for wheel alignment. I was told that my AC LINE needed replaced and it was going to be $681.31, I called the company and spoke to Stacey at the front desk and asked if this was all the vehicle needed to get the AC going, and she stated as far as the technician could tell that this was the problem, and wasnt a compressor issue. I advised to go ahead with the job if this was all that it needed. I called later that day as it was Friday to see if my car was ready and told they where not going to be able to finish it. I got an invoice Monday morning with a bill that was a little over $2,500 stating that the AC compressor would need to be replaced. I immediately called and spoke with Stacey at the front desk advising that I would have not went any further with the diagnosis if I knew is was more that an AC line. She stated she understood were I was upset, and I advised her I would just have to call back as I needed to think about going any further with this. Stacey than called me back about 5 minutes later stating that she spoke with her manager and that they would drop the total price down for two tie rods, air compressor, alignment, and air line to $1,724.00 instead of $2,500 total and wouldnt charge me for the labor since they felt like there technician should have noticed that my compressor clutch was bad. I went ahead and agreed to this cause if I hadnt I would already be out $681.31 for an air line and the issue still wouldnt be fixed. I just received my car back on Thursday morning 07/17/25. I wasnt offered a loaner vehicle till Tuesday afternoon after being told multiple times that my car would be ready each evening and I finally told them I needed another vehicle. Once receiving my vehicle the air is working but two of the front vents are not evening blowing any air after I have spent all this money. With all this being said had I known that my vehicle was going to need all this I wouldnt have had the AC messed with. I think Stacey at the front desk is amazing , but I feel like the technicians need to do a more in depth look at vehicles and addressing the issues before proceeding further with clients. I understand that cars need repairs and you may find other issues, but address those issues all together on what people may end up having to pay if it is going to be more.
