5 /5 W R (Vambee): We are on our way from NC to Tampa, FL. Our journey on its 5th day begins with the dreaded check engine light. Nothing to concerning, we start calling shops along our route in west GA near Columbus toward Waycross. Not one shop was able to help. Finally, I go to auto parts store gather supplies and viola, I switch on my basic maintenance chief. Fluids, filters, and the journey continues.
One problem, the oil plug is Impact wrenched on. The previous change was done in TX. Now I exhausted all efforts to remove to no avail.
We tried driving to several places. AJs very own Johnny step up to help. He was in the shop with big rigs, tractor, and all types of equipment. Stops to listen to our situation. He wants to help since we have all the parts, but calls his owner for approval. Long story short, they take us on. We run errands with our toad and viola that evening our 2007 Gulf Stream Endura 6340 is back up and running. Not one to two weeks. No need for complex machines, simply a heart to serve. It was more than a typical oil change due to a stripped highly torqued bolt, but a one day turn around in the country is totally impressive. Thanks Johnny and Ricky.
