2 /5 brian miller: Not speaking for all WnB locations, but this one needs some serious help. I understand its new, but the need for training is obvious.
The place was not packed busy, the phone was constantly ringing and the staff ignored the phone orders because they could not keep up with what little they had waiting in the store. Cooks were constantly looking through the window or stepping out to see how busy things were, or to slowly walk to the drink machine to refill their cups, then slowly walk back. It was also painfully obvious the cooks could not make more than 1 order at a time. Other staff would let made orders sit in the window for several minutes before calling out the numbers for pickup. We waited 45 minutes after placing our order before we got ours.
I ordered the chicken sandwich and the wife first asked for the Korean bbq using turkey burger. The manager said they cant make her order because the cooks will get confused, so she stuck with beef not wanting to cause any issues. We dont know if other WnBs can make custom burgers to order like that, but it shouldnt have been too hard in my opinion.
The chicken sandwich was advertised as crispy fried but really wasnt any better than what one would get in a gas station (see image). The Korean bbq burger was just a burger with sauteed onion and mushrooms. There was no dressing on the burger at all (no bbq - aka bulgogi), no catsup, mustard, mayo, or anything. Our apologies for the poor burger pictures. We were hungry, and I forgot to take pictures first.
The best part of our order was the tader-tots. They gave us a huge order for a large size. We cant imagine what a box size would be (see image).
Were always willing to give a local business a 2nd or 3rd chance, but its going to be a while before we come back. Hopefully the management and staff will be better trained and motivated next time.
