5 /5 Mark Dandrea: I serendipitously stumbled upon Volcano Steak and Sushi on a Tuesday and it was the best surprise! It turns out Tuesdays are half-price, which allowed me to sample a wide variety of their incredibly fresh Japanese fare.
The presentation here is top-notch; they use very clever and unique dishware that makes the meal feel like an experience. While they do offer milk teas, the sushi and Japanese dishes are the true stars of the show.
The atmosphere is what really sets this place apart. They have massive ceiling screens playing stellar cosmic videos—it honestly feels like you’ve stepped onto the deck of the Enterprise in Star Trek.
Bonus: The building is connected to sister stores offering great Korean DIY varieties, making the whole complex a one-stop shop for amazing Asian cuisine. Highly recommend!
