1 /5 Corneal Barker: This was my second visit to this establishment within the last 30 days. The first time, I came for dinner and had an excellent experience. Our server was pleasant, attentive, and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the menu and even helped us choose a cocktail pairing that complemented our meal perfectly.
Unfortunately, today’s brunch visit was a completely different experience. I brought a friend along after raving about how great this place was, but the service fell far short of expectations. Our server was inattentive and seemed eager to rush us through our order rather than provide genuine service. He wasn’t friendly, and it took an unusually long time just to place our order. Had we not already ordered the garlic bread, we likely would have left.
At one point, I ordered a glass of wine. He brought the glass but became distracted with another task and never actually returned with the wine. On multiple occasions, we had to actively try to get his attention, which became frustrating and uncomfortable.
It’s disappointing how inconsistent service can completely change your perception of a restaurant. A place I once raved about is now somewhere I don’t see myself returning to.
