1 /5 Frederic St Laurent: Love the location… but the food is… well, not good.
The burger appeared to be juicy, when it was finally brought out, however it was overcooked, very dry and like a piece of leather. The juice in the basket appeared to be coming from the lettuce and tomato that seemed to have been in water for a while. Not sure, but they did not appear to be fresh. The bun was sitting in this water/juice.
I had bacon (this was good) but I could not eat the burger…
The onion rings were inedible. They were cooked so long, that the onion had dried up inside the “tooth bustingly” hard coating. Sort of like onion fossils?
They were an imprint of an onion in a rock… I could not eat them. They were just short of burned.
Loaded potato salad was tasteless, and there did not appear to be anything loaded in it.
My wife ordered a flounder fish sandwich and fried pickles. The fish was hard (overcooked) and dry. The pickles were also overcooked and hard.
Overall it was not worth the $40 we paid to enjoy the view.
Topper was the waitress who came over and asked to clear away the uneaten food.
She did ask me if I had not enjoyed the meal. I told her”no, sorry. I did not”
She simply took the food and left….
We will not be coming back
