5 /5 Kerry Sanders: I played this course in late October 2014. The day started out a bit rainy, but cleared up to a beautiful sunny day. The golf course and staff were the best. They came to greet you and ask what they could do to make your experience great at their course. The golf course was in beautiful condition. The greens were fast and the course is challenging. It does not have a lot of elevation change considering it is located in the north Georgia mountains, but it still plays well. When I was there the foliage was at its peak with wonderful maple reds, oak yellows, and orange colors from beach and hickory trees. The course is in a river valley between two high ridges that are dotted with beautiful homes. The Chestatee River runs back and forth through the course making for many challenging golf holes. the restaurant at the course turns out some pretty great food too. The pro shop and restaurant are very welcoming comfortable. I will be back often. Even though it is over and hour drive from my home.
