5 /5 Shannon: The food was amazing! Battered Lemon Pepper Wings with Fries! The fries were actually seasoned and fresh! The wings were super tender and you could taste the lemon pepper! The chef (stepssoulfood:IG) came out to greet us! Nicole was a great waitress and very attentive. The drinks were bussin! Also, the prices are very reasonable! New vibe spot! I hope this place does great business on the southside!

His energy was positive, his recommendations were on point, and he checked on us throughout the meal without ever being overbearing. You can tell he genuinely cares about making guests feel welcomed and taken care of. If you visit, definitely ask for JaQuises — you won’t be disappointed!
