4 /5 Glow2000: Visiting GA stopped by this place to check it out around 6 pm on Saturday. They close at 9 pm. We wanted to try some Home style barbecue. My husband was looking forward to having the brisket but they ran out so that was disappointing. We ended up having the full rack of ribs with coleslaw, baked beans and homemade potatoe salad. Everything was delicious, ribs fall off the bone. The service was good and overall would return to this location. We happen to visit the one in Murphy NC and definitely the food was not as enjoyable so location does matter in my experience.

5 /5 Chance Greene: This hidden gem was recommended by many locals. The overall recommendation was the brisket; the wet brisket to be exact. I’m a hard sale on brisket but this was a run off win for the best brisket ever. The sides included LOADED twice baked potatoes salad and fried green tomatoes. Since I was from the south, I was a little skeptical of the Fried green tomatoes. House put to rest after the first one, they were crispy, salty, and citrusy. The loaded twice baked potato salad with something on its own. It was almost like a luxury appetizer, all the complex flavors are twice baked potato, but just as good refrigerator as fresh. If you’re staying anywhere near the Helen or Gainesville area, the 20 minute ride is well worth The customer service and food you get.1010 Food, 10 out of 10 customer service and THE BEST peach cobbler ever. Sorry Nanny if you see this, but this is a must go place. This is Off of the main drain and away from the vacation parts but just close enough if you’re on vacation.

5 /5 Chris: Great food, great customer service, great atmosphere. We had the ribs, pulled pork, baked beans, cole slaw, and garlic toast. We were amazed with every. single. bite. It was the best dining out experience that I’ve had in a very long time. We chose them as caterers for an event, and I’m positive that we made a great choice!

4 /5 Sharon M: We were visiting some friends and stopped by Rib Country for late lunch. The entrance was decorated with southern charm and what was to be “expected” of a BBQ place. I had to use the bathroom and I was happily surprised as to how clean the ladie’s room was. Clean and actually very nice looking. My father always said “a restaurant that has a clean bathroom, has a clean kitchen”. He always went to the bathroom before sitting at any restaurant to see how clean it was. So, yeh, very clean. The staff from hostesses to our waitress were very pleasant and friendly. Real southern and kind. I asked for this and that and were given them with a smile. Their food was good (ribs seem real small) but their collard greens were amazing. Had two portions!!!! Check arrived without an offer of dessert. So much the better, don’t need the extra calories. Overall a good local BBQ place. Would be back. P. S. Was too hungry. Hence no pictures of the food. But took plenary pics of the bathroom. LOL.
