2 /5 Jym Wright: Stopped there in the evening hours. Ordered the wheelchair special plate. My meal came with 2 sides of Mac n Cheese and lightly sweetened potato salad, a piece of fish, lightly breaded shrimp, a higher piece of meat slathered in bbq sauce. In addition I got the pecan pie and a ginger ale soda. The decor is an electric mix of old memorabilia and posters of movie stars and pictures of past patrons. I was disappointed. This place came highly recommended. The potato salad did not need to be sweetened, the fish was bland, the shrimp was good because it was lightly breaded but bland too. The pecan pie felt and looked store bought. The hush puppies with that bit of corn was the best! Menu items are priced with tip roughly $25 to $100 plus depending on what you order and how many ppl are in your party. Heavily seafood based menu. So you will need cash as they dont accept debit/credit cards.
This place is definitely something to behold. And if you are interested in any of the artifacts, they are for sale. The waitress I had and staff were very friendly and accommodating. I appreciated that immensely. The chef came out with his parrot and went around talking with everyone which was really cool. Go for the experience. Best part is it is not far from the Smallest Church in America!
