5 /5 D Moody: This place is a must-try for authentic soul food! The fried chicken and porkchops were perfect, and the mac and cheese was creamy and delicious. we also loved the candied yams – they had the perfect balance of sweetness and spice. My dining partner got the smothered pork chops, which were melt-in-your-mouth tender. The service was incredibly friendly, and the cozy, family-owned atmosphere made us feel right at home. Dont forget to save room for the peach cobbler; its amazing! The restaurant was absolutely immaculate.

4 /5 Tabitha: First time here. It was very good southern food! Had fried chicken, Mac n cheese, whole catfish, green beans and yams. Total was about $25. Mac n cheese is probably my favorite food, so Im very picky about it but this one was good. It is peppery as far as the seasoning but still good. The catfish was made fresh and delicious!! Fried chicken was seasoned well and not over fried or dried out. Customer service was great as well! Will definitely be back to try other menu items!

5 /5 Kai: Have visited this place 3 times (Lunch, Breakfast, Lunch) and have never been disappointed. I always get cabbage cuz it reminds me of my moms cooking back home. Not a fan of the roll or cornbread though. 10/10. Clean restaurant with courteous and friendly workers.

4 /5 CC LoveMyFam: We went in for lunch around 1:30 pm on a Tuesday. We were greeted once we reached the serving line. The staff was nice. We seated ourselves as the place was nearly empty. The atmosphere was super relaxed. The food was ok. I had baked chicken, squash, green beans and a cornbread muffin. Hubby had pepper steak, which we thought was beef stew, fried chicken, black eyed peas, squash and cornbread. It wasnt bad, just average, IMO. The plates were really shallow, so the portions for the sides were really small. I probably wont return.

1 /5 Ree Love: This isn’t my first time coming here but it may just be my last. The workers looked like they didn’t want to be here and not very welcoming.. the food was absolutely disgusting.. the rice was not cooked completely, very stretched servings, broccoli casserole tasted like mesh scorched broccoli, my collards had a random leaf in them and it was not a bay leaf, corn bread should be considered a weapon… the only thing that was edible was the chicken. Which I ate that off the bone, due to hunger.
