5 /5 Doug Ford: With our very first visit to this wonderfully authentic and dedicated family restaurant we were pleasantly delighted with just how delicious our food tasted! Im talking from beginning with the salsa and warm chips, the house made refried beans, the tender/not over cooked but very flavorful chicken , rice, and fresh salad with a generous dollop of sour cream, plus the ground beef taco & enchilada was fabulous! Service & friendliness abounded from the waiter to the owner of which the restaurant is named after. We will most definitely be making this a regular dinner favorite.

5 /5 Ryan Boyer: Went to this restaurant on 11/11/2025 with a friend of mine. Ordered the fajita trio. They prepared it the way I requested and it was great and my friend enjoyed her tamales but wasnt impressed by the margarita. We had gone to the restaurant before it got busy, before 5pm. Staff was polite. Good experience. Thumbs up!

5 /5 Mike Mike: I like everything about this place. You can tell that they take great pride in their work. The service is excellent, friendly, and professional. The restaurant is very clean inside and out. The food is absolutely delicious! They use high quality ingredients and purposely avoid using cheaper products. The size of the portions is incredible. I can make the tirzo special last for three meals. I’ll always find time to stop by when I’m visiting LaFayette.
