1 /5 HMP Associate Uploading: SO UPSETTING AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I am not one that post negative reviews, but this experience Is something I want to share to warn others. I went to eat there with my husband yesterday, and I let the waitress know ahead of time that I have issues with spicy food. She was kind enough to bring out some salsa for me, but unfortunately, one of the dishes I ordered was extremely spicy—so much so that it triggered a reaction. My mouth felt like it was on fire, I broke out, and I ended up with what felt like oral thrush. I had to drink milk and leave the restaurant immediately. I couldn’t even enjoy the other dish I had ordered. To make things worse, my husband’s order was also incorrect. We were so upset by the experience that we paid the check, left a tip, and walked out without taking any of the food in to-go containers. Despite the waitress acknowledging what was going on—and me crying at the table—not a single manager came over to check on us. When I later called to express my concerns, the female manager I spoke with was dismissive and unprofessional. She told me it wasn’t her fault that I left the food on the table and refused to remake or even partially refund the items I couldn’t eat. I wasn’t even asking for a full refund—just a remake of my $12 meal or the $8 side I never touched. Instead of listening, she kept interrupting me and made it clear she didn’t see this as her problem. I was especially shocked when she laughed during the call. I left that conversation feeling ashamed, disrespected, and extremely upset. This was an incredibly disappointing and unprofessional experience from beginning to end

5 /5 Johnny Dodson: The food there has always been excellent! Its always hot and the prices are reasonable. It is authentic! My wife and I eat there because we love the atmosphere and it is cozy. Our waitresss name was Charlotte. She is very warm and attentive. She was also very precise when describing the options for the dishes that we were ordering.

5 /5 Lauren Bugh: We ordered take out a few times, and once ate inside the restaurant. I always get the taco salad, and it tastes great every time. I love the combination of chicken, avocado, crispy tortilla strips, tomatoes, lettuce and other toppings. Their sweet tea was also very good. My husband likes the horchata and the big burrito. My son likes the wings. We all have a regular order and it has been well made and consistent each time. The time we ate in the restaurant, I did not catch our servers name, but she saw me trying to discreetly nurse my baby by standing in a corner near our table, and she showed me an empty booth toward the back where I could nurse my baby privately. I was really touched she went out of her way to accommodate me.

1 /5 Joe Royle: The service was good. Could tell the waitress knew we were unhappy with our food. The Mexican rice is literally uncle bens veggie mix. Never have I seen parboiled rice with carrots peas and green beans at a Mexican restaurant. Did not partake in the drinks maybe thats why people go though. Will not be returning!
