1 /5 Michelle C.: I walked in around 3:00 p.m. yesterday and stood at the host stand for several minutes without being greeted or acknowledged. Eventually, I asked one of the male employees behind the bar if the restaurant was open. Although he clearly saw me standing there, he didn’t greet or respond until I spoke first. He finally mumbled something and led me to a table.
Despite the restaurant being fairly empty (only four tables occupied and three servers on the floor), no one came by to take my order for another five minutes. I had to call the same staff member who seated me to place my order. His explanation? He was “busy” and had a few tables.
What made the experience worse was the lack of professionalism - the busboy walked around with his hair completely covering his face, which didn’t look neat or appropriate for a restaurant setting. When my food finally arrived - brought out by a lady who seemed to be either the manager or owner - there were no plates provided. I had to ask for one, which felt like a basic oversight or lacked common sense. While she was pleasant, the overall service felt inattentive and unwelcoming. Unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed and wouldn’t return.
