Johnnys New York Style Pizza - Douglas (GA)

1 /5 william corbitt: Today was my second time ordering from Johnnys pizza, both times we tried to get the pizzas ordered so that we could pick it up when we got off work. Both occasions we arrive and the pizzas have not even been started. Called in almost an hour ahead of time and nothing, we still have to wait 20 to 30 minutes for them to cook. Total failure on customer service. The first time was a few months ago and I said never again, I folded because she likes the pizza from Johnnys and boom, total disappointment again! If you go in it might be different, but for call ins I do not recommend! Customer service is trash!

Let’s start with the pizza: the crust is that perfect balance of crispy and chewy, holding up to a mountain of gooey, melted cheese and flavorful toppings. The meat lovers pizza I had was a carnivore’s dream, with every bite packed full of rich, savory goodness. And don’t even get me started on those garlic breadsticks—they’re pillowy, buttery, and just the right amount of garlicky, with a dusting of Parmesan that takes them over the top. But great food is only half the equation, and Johnny’s nails the other half with their service. The staff here are friendly, quick, and make you feel like a regular even if it’s your first visit. Whether youre dining in or taking out, they make sure your experience is as enjoyable as the food. All in all, Johnny’s Pizza is a must-visit for anyone craving quality pizza in a welcoming atmosphere. Trust me, one bite and you’ll be hooked!

2 /5 Billy F.: I ordered takeout from Johnnys in Douglas a few days ago and the pizza was a mess. About one-quarter of the pizza had the cheese on the other part of the pizza. I dont know what happened but most likely it looks like when the pizza came out of the oven the pizza box was at an angle and the cheese just gradually moved to one side of the pie. You can see in the picture Ill post as to what Im talking about. I do not expect this level of carelessness from Johnnys especially when youre paying nearly $25 a Pizza. Ive had nothing but positive experience when dining in, but this is the second time Ive had take out here where the pizza has been less than desirable. I highly recommend you check your pie before walking out because I didnt check mine until I got home and we just dealt with it and it wasnt good.
