1 /5 Vanna M: This was our second time eating here at this location. Both times we ordered online and picked it up. The first time, they forgot a hamburger that my daughter ordered. No big deal. I told someone and they said it was accidentally put in another to-go bag and made another one for us. The food that time was really good. The hamburger was cooked perfectly, the collard greens had a really good taste, and my daughter loved the bbq corn on the cobb. This time, we were really disappointed and I hate that I wasted my money. It was my daughter’s birthday and she requested Jim-N-Nick’s for her birthday dinner. Highly disappointed! To start off, we ordered a single patty cheeseburger with only cheese, mayonnaise, bacon, mustard and ketchup with no onions, lettuce, or tomatoes. What do you know? It was 2 patties, and had everything on it. It also was not cooked properly. Like not just medium rare, the tops of the patties still had a little pink on them. She couldn’t eat it. The corn on the Cobb was not cooked all the way, tasted almost raw. The collard greens were really spicy, which is not how they were last time. My collard greens had mostly meat in them and not many greens at all. My sandwich did not come with coleslaw like it was supposed to. And when I picked up the order, I told the woman at the counter that we also had a sweet tea and she seemed kind of annoyed that she had to go get it. I don’t know if they are training more cooks or what the issue was, but it needs to be fixed. Everything is going up price wise. Eating something out is becoming more of a luxury for some people and I hate that I wasted my money here tonight. We only eat out about once a month and it was not worth the money. Like at all. We definitely will not eat at this location again. I did not drive all the way back to speak to the manager because we live about 30 minutes away and we honestly don’t want any more food from the place anyways.
