4 /5 Joseph Sheffield: Second visit- The Pork Osso roast was delicious. Perfectly cooked and falling off the bone. The sides were great with it, but they were small portion. The price was great though at $21. Fried shrimp and steak was OK. Steak was a bit salty and I’m unsure of the grade of steak this is. Got to eat it while it’s hot. Chicken soup was horrible-she took it off. On certain days, they have good discounts on particular items. Not top tier in the food category, but a step up from the fast food chains. Great customer service today.
Very clean parking lot. Everything looks new. No greeter on entrance Sunday night. We sat at the bar to order food-decent bar menu. TVs everywhere playing every sport available. clean establishment, clean restrooms. Two big bar areas felt like an upgraded Applebee’s I initially thought. bartender Robin was a bright spot, very helpful very nice and on point her service increased our experience.
French onion soup- flavorful, a little salty. The crouton on the top should be on the side as it gets soggy fast like wet bread and absorbs half of the soup.
House Salad-I love cold lettuce and dressing, I took away cheese and it felt like this salad could be a dollar or two less.
Burger with cilantro rice-The burger was quality tasting, could use a little more seasoning. The cilantro rice was very basic and small portion.
Battered fish- the onion rings were great. Good value-Large portion fish, tasty and crunchy.
Ribeye-Chewy-Not high grade
Very accommodating space. I appreciate The late hours. I can see many people in the area stopping by for the good ole American bar food. Only veggie side is mixed veggies.
