4 /5 Jonathan Grubb: Reviews seem to be all over the place so maybe it is an issue with consistency, possibly during busy times, however my experience was solid. As Statesboro has limited fine dining options at this point we wanted to try something different. Elements did not disappoint overall. The appetizers were great (oysters and crab dip), entrees good (Pork Osso Bucco as well as a meat and cheese board) and creme brulee to finish off the meal was worth it. A few small reasons I would give four instead of five stars l, and I will say it is more of being critical than most people would be and not due to issues of service or poor quality food. First, while the Pork Osso Bucco was solid, I have had better versions elsewhere. This is not to say it was bad just not the best I have had (out of probably 6-12 different variations). Second, while the meat and cheese board was good, it felt that some aspects could be improved, specifically the cheeses (one was a cheddar) and possibly the addition of a honeycomb (rather than on the water crackers since these seemed soft and were not used). I would go back again and try something different as our experience was good overall.
