El Poblano Mexican Restaurant - Alma (GA)

2 /5 Mason Roberson: I ordered the "Super Burrito" for $11. The name suggests that this burrito would be larger than average, but it was disappointingly small. As seen in the photo my hand is almost larger than the entire burrito. For reference I have average sized hands for a man.

1 /5 Lauria Tenorio: Food nasty greasy. Too expensive for what it tastes like. Service socks you can tell the waitress didnt really want to work we didnt even get any refills with definitely not go there again.

2 /5 Thomas Williams: The food quality and quantity have greatly decreased. The attached picture is $10.99 worth of chicken nachos. The server never returned to my table, and I was one of three people in the restaurant. Total bill was $14.00 plus. It was very disappointing. They need to return to the previous quality and quantity and service.

It didnt fell authentic - it was mostly just a paste base without any of the fresh veggies you would normally have for the added texture and taste. I will say the cheese dip was exceptional! Their homemade chips were delicious. I got my order to go, but the atmosphere seemed warm and welcoming. The manager was friendly, and even though I was only placing a to go order, he made it feel as though I was there to sit and eat. I will go out on a limb and say I imagine their table service is very good. The prices are a bit high, but portions are large, and everything tasted like it was made with fresh ingredients. Food was hot and made to order, but I didnt find it anything to rave about after the chips and dip. I went back several days later wanting an order of Sopapillas and was soo prego lady disappointed they dont offer them. Im from NC, but I assumed all Mexican restaurants served them as a staple desert. The restaurant is nice inside, and the menu is extensive - almost overwhelming with soo many choices. All and all, Im not sure theyre the top choice for Mexican food in Alma, GA.
