5 /5 Dan Reilly: Lyons has a hidden food jewel.
Simply put, go there. Dont think abbot it. Just. Go!
Make the left turn at 130 if you are northbound on US 1 to get to their parking lot, which will be on your right after the turn.
The food is amazing. We had the fried green beans and fried green tomatoes to start. Our group then had the Brunswick stew and burgers... You must try the BBQ Potato Bake side dish (picture attached)! Really, just order it...maybe even use both sides for it.
And the desserts? Yeah, youre doing you want to save some space in the tank for them. The four of us had three. As we each shared around the table faces lit up, smiles flashed and hung on, the ceiling got looked at as our eyes rolled back in our heads. You may just want to go for dessert one night. The strawberry cake and peanut butter cup cake were both spectacular. The banana pudding, well, there just arent words.
The staff was great, too!
Looking forward to my next trip to Vidalia so I can go to Paulas Kitchen!
