3 /5 Gary Harrison: As a Jamaican, I would have to say the oxtails here miss the mark. The customer service is good, I was greeted and treated respectfully. I had to wait a minute for the food but I was okay with it. The food was piping hot but was not what I thought it would be. The rice was not fluffy like usual rice and peas. Its almost as if it is fried rice and the beans were just added to it. Didnt have a lot of moisture to it either. I ended up throwing away the rest of the rice. The oxtail was hit and miss. A few pieces were VERY chewy and some were a little tender. All the pieces had A LOT of fat on it. I know oxtail usually does but this was a lot even for oxtail. The pieces werent very meaty either. The cabbage was okay. It wasnt overcooked and had okay flavor. I would give the oxtails a 4/10. They definitely arent Jamaican oxtails. More like Haitian or Cuban oxtails, because had more of a reddish color to them
