5 /5 Malia Robinson: Sweetest staff & neatest place to stop in and grab a quick, cheap bite! Every person was friendly, at least 4 people checked and made sure we had already ordered. We ordered 3 hot dogs / 3 cheeseburgers and we only waited about 8 minutes. They also had quite a bit of people in there too! My picky children loved the cheeseburgers and I did too; Simple but made well!

1 /5 Maggie Hewlett: I went to this restaurant for the first time and was really looking forward to it, but the experience made me sad and uncomfortable. While I was there, I saw the owner being extremely rude and hateful toward an employee over the way he was sweeping the floor. The worker looked like he was doing his best, and it felt completely unnecessary and harsh. It was really upsetting to watch, especially since employees like him are the reason a business can stay open in the first place. Treating staff that way, especially in front of customers, isn’t okay. Because of this experience, I won’t be coming back. I hope the owner learns to treat their employees with more respect.

1 /5 Alli Schorr: This is a place my family and I visit often, and we’ve usually had positive experiences at this location. Today, however, was very uncomfortable. We were the only customers inside, and a young man who took our order was polite, attentive, and clearly trying to do his job well. Unfortunately, on three separate occasions we witnessed different employees speak harshly to him over very minor issues, such as placing a drink on one section of the counter instead of another. Most upsetting was when the owner spoke very harshly to him simply for attempting to sweep the floor. The tone and treatment made our entire family uncomfortable, to the point that we chose to leave as soon as possible. It really left a bad taste in my mouth, as it felt unnecessary and unkind…especially toward someone who appeared to be working hard and doing his best. I don’t know if I will be back.

5 /5 Lauren Ellis: Food is delicious! Burgers are small so plan to get 2 and the hotdogs are standard size. Cute little joint and would definitely come back!

5 /5 Michael Jones: This place is absolutely fantastic, no wonder they’ve been around since 1920. You know it’s gonna be good as soon as you walk in the door with the classic diner vibe it gives off. They even fired up the toy train for the kids to see. The burgers are awesome but the star of the show for me was the spicy relish dog. They even took extra care to package up the pint of spicy relish I ordered to go so that it would survive our trip back home. We’ll be coming back next time we’re in Lagrange. Great food, great people and a nice old school feel.
