1 /5 Julie Santiago: This was one of the most concerning restaurant experiences Ive ever had and raises serious health and safety issues. The manager was visibly and extremely intoxicated while on duty, which is completely unacceptable in any food service environment. In addition to this, her behavior was condescending, which only made the situation more uncomfortable. Her condition and attitude made me seriously question whether basic food safety, sanitation, and proper handling procedures were being followed.
The manager is also the one who took our food order, and despite that, the food we received was incorrect.
When the food arrived, it tasted off, was poorly prepared, and did not seem safe to eat. Given the managers intoxicated state, this significantly heightened concerns about how food was being handled and prepared.
I want to be very clear that our server was not the issue. She was kind, and clearly trying her best in a very difficult situation. However, there was constant miscommunication between the manager and the server, which caused delays and confusion throughout the meal.
Overall, this experience felt extremely disorganized, unprofessional, and unsafe. Between the managers intoxication, condescending behavior, incorrect order, and food safety concerns, this is not a restaurant I would trust to dine at.
