4 /5 susan lamb: I’m the one usually posting every time I come here. I mean every time. Texting people who live here “Have you tried the Bistro?” So my review today is going to be a little different. Took off only one star. With Soup season here and this girl lives for creamy soups, if you’re going to charge 6.75 for a cup this small? At least serve it with some actual substance in it. It’s soup broth. It’s great soup broth but it’d Potato Leek that has been pureed. I guarantee men would say something. So it would be perfect to take home and use for a soup base but at almost 7.00 for this size? You can make your own for far less. Secondly if you’re going to serve it and charge what you do? Include a pack of crackers or a piece of bread. I asked the sweet girls and they actually all looked at each other like I had just asked a forbidden question. Everyone got quiet. Like they’ve been asked before but aren’t allowed to actually offer any even though they do have them. Perhaps for a chicken salad plate but yes they do have them. She placed 4 in a cup (opened) and handed it to me. So basically being your own diced/cooked potatoes, chopped bacon, perhaps a little shredded cheese and some crackers or hunk of bread and you’re set! For 14.50. Here’s what I got for that. I love people being able to see if you get your $$s worth at a restaurant beforehand so they can make their own minds up before coming in. Yes everything has gone up but that doesn’t mean we can’t complain about what we’re getting for what we paid. Heck even Publix sets free crackers out got their great soups. Come on guys! For 7.00 people sort of expect the soup will be the filling part of a little meal here
