Barbecue Pit - Moultrie (GA)

1 /5 W B.: Dark meat chicken was hard and dry. Id guess it was hanging around at least an hour. I didnt attempt to send it back,as only 2 waitresses there and things were happening very slowly. Potato salad had been partially frozen so it had an odd texture.

2 /5 Ken: Really disappointed with this dining experience. We stopped in for lunch and ordered about as simple as a meal as you can get at a BBQ restaurant. Our food was slow in getting out, but I can accept that because it was hot. I admit we got the “regular” size sandwich, but good grief it was barely more than a slider. The sandwich, fries and the Mac and cheese were all hot. The meat (pork) was nothing more than what you would get at Arby’s on a small roast beef sandwich. In fact, it could have been an Arby’s sandwich. The Mac and cheese was just plain awful. Forget about being freshly made. It would have been an upgrade if they had just went to a Walmart deli and bought some and resold it here. I’m not sure how you make Mac and cheese that bad. The fries were good, but after getting a small amount of ketchup the bottle was empty. We try to patronize small local businesses when we can, and generally encourage that, but in this case I’d recommend you go somewhere else for your BBQ fix.

1 /5 Elizabeth Arrington: We went to pit yesterday we order small turkey and a hamburger and 2 orders slaw the slaw was in a tiny bowl they charged 3.75 per each slaw waitress was so great total bill plus tip 35.00 what a rip off. Evan the lady on register sais thats why the business is slow I dont mind paying for food if its enough for what u pay I was so dissatisfied also the bathrooms smell so bad bad plumbing.

5 /5 Greg Gowens: After a long day at work, I was driving through Moultrie, looking for a place to eat. I saw the restaurant as I was passing it and drove around the block to get back to it. Very hospitable waitress! She helped me figure out what to order in their large menu. I ended up ordering the Combination Plate with Beef, Pork, Ribs, and Chicken. I substituted the Smoked Turkey for the Ribs. Food was prepared as requested. I had two baked potatoes for my side items. It took a few minutes to come out, but it was a large amount of food to prepare. Food was delicious! I would highly recommend this location!
