Lynette Guess First time eating at Zaxbys with a basketball team. They got us through the line and got our food out quick and without any mistakes. The food was fresh and hot! Outstanding!

Kat valentine I absolutely love their wings, out of all the wings in Americus they have the best and most variety. My favorite flavors they serve are the traditional buffalo and the Hot Honey, and they have that good Ken’s ranch sauce. The cooks 100% throw down on those wings every time. Employees are always kind and it never takes too long to get our food. My partner very much enjoys getting the Philly steak sandwiches. The fries are one of my favorite fries in town. And their peach drink is always refreshing! I’ve had a great experience every time at this establishment.

April Luper This is a diamond in the ruff. Formally a huddle house. It was soo good. The ladies working were amazing friendly funny and know how to run a diner. The food was perfect. We got a grilled chicken sandwich with hasbrowns, a 3 squares club sandwhich with fries and an order of onion rings with a tip it was 30 bucks. And well worth every penny!! Dont pass it by for the fancier stops its good I promise you that. The club was so good my husband tipped the women on the grill. But she deserved her own tip she can cook. I tipped our waitress as well since her service was so friendly. Thanks for a great lunch ladies!

Samantha Taylor Maxwell Food was wonderful! Friendly staff. It’s a little off the beaten path and was not as busy as it should have been. But that was ok with us. We were in and out in about 30 minutes. The building is nice, and cool. Lots of parking. Can’t wait to try it again.

Chris Hanes Delicious hot dogs and fries and outstanding sweet tea! Heads up - if you order something other than hot dogs, be prepared for a little wait, but only a few minutes. Our group of 9 stopped here on a Saturday afternoon in December, 2025. We ordered at the counter, found plenty of seating available and really enjoyed our meals. Definitely a no-frills place, just what we were looking for on this occasion. I can highly recommend the chili dogs and chili cheese fries - so good! Prices are very reasonable and we found parking easily out front. Service was quick and friendly.

Allison Gilmore If you are making the pilgrimage to see the Carters site in Plains, do yourself a big favor and stop at Gladys in Americus. Wonderful Sunday “after church” spot. Was lucky to get there before the crowd and had the best okra & tomatoes, butter beans, rice, and Mac and cheese. Husband devoured his fried chicken!

Lord Eldwyn A local institution. Don’t expect anything fancy. Benches and wood panelling there since Jesus carved them will greet you, but know you are in for a treat. The best chicken, burger, and hands down the best southern quick breakfast is in store. One early because there will always be a queue.

Naomi Powell I’ve know about Gyro City for a long while, but was afraid to try it. And I don’t even know why now that I’ve tried it. This place is incredible! The service was top-notch, with the servers being friendly and personable. The food was hot, delicious, and hit just the spot. The spanakopita was a personal favorite of me and my husband. Yes, it’s a little pricy, but it’s worth every cent. We will be back.

John Wall We recently ate here for my grandmothers 90th birthday. We had almost 20 people in the party. They had no problem accommodating the group. The staff was friendly and the food was good. They even allowed someone to bring a cake for the party. I definitely recommend this place if you are in the Americus area.
