Ivelisse Rodriguez Beautiful church with a very kind and welcoming congregation. Highly recommend visiting, especially if you’re new to Orthodoxy! There’s a library of Orthodox literature for learning more and plenty of opportunities for asking questions. Free lunch right after service; better than a church coffee shop by far. You’re guaranteed to feel at home, even if you’re new. Very family-friendly/family-positive; and very understanding atmosphere. I went in with my whole tattoos in view lol. Pure acceptance

Beth Green St. James is a wonderful Christian Church where you can learn the ancient faith. We have Russians, Syrians, Greeks etc., but mostly those who have converted from a Protestant background. Fr. Steven is a wonderful preacher and loving priest.

It has a brand-new swimming pool.

Laura Junio Awesome church with a young pastor of 22 years old but wiser than his age and on fire for the Lord. His wife is a nurse and he reminds me of a young version of Billy Graham. I am not put to sleep with his services. All kinds of worship songs for ages young to old. It is growing in numbers and it is an extension of Westside Baptist Church but located in the Southwest Kanapaha area. The members are all very friendly and they care about one another. We have smaller groups at peoples houses and potlucks either at church or in peoples houses. We have a great nursery and very good youth pastor. We have many events and opportunities to serve our community. I recommend trying it out.

Renea Hanks I highly recommend Jesus Christ Tabernacle. This is the church I got baptized in Jesus name, and Holy Ghost filled. I went to church here for a long time while I lived in Texas. I am in Oklahoma now about 2 hours away. I have brought and directed many other people to go here through the years who have been set free. JCT understood the assignment when Jesus said "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance." You will be loved here. Let them love you because they will. If you want a strong foundation in following Jesus, this is the church. If you go with an open heart, I assure you, Jesus will fill it.

J B Amazing community of believers with wise, loving elders/pastors leading the sheep. On our first Sunday, and every time weve had people with us who are visiting for the first time, the lead pastor has come over to intentionally talk with us and actually want to get to know those who are new. Weve found so many people on Sunday and in our community group who are extremely loving, caring, mature in their faith, and genuinely in love with the Lord. The church community also does an amazing job of looking for opportunities to get involved with loving downtown Gainesville, especially with those often marginalized or overlooked. May the Lord continue to use City Church for His glory!

S Beth (Lizzie) I LOVE Valley Creek Church! We have been going here since 2002! We have seen many changes here but we still love the teachings and atmosphere. We loved Pastor Kevin back in the day and we also love Pastor John! The teachings here are biblical and very practical. There is always more to learn and hear! We have been to all the different campuses but currently, we call VCC Gainesville home. We love the small town feeling there and just the love and kindness is felt and seen all around us.
