Becca-Becca Becca (BECCA BECCA BECCA) He came quick; he had an a rude demeanor towards my mom. She had just had foot surgery and had waited on AAA to send her a tow truck for 7 hours. An awesome Pierce county deputy asssisted us. Mr. Mark told my mother, upon arrival with an unprofessional tone: "I need $125 cash."..After explaining she would need to go to an ATM because she doesnt carry cash in high amounts like that, he then proceeded to say "If your not at your house with the money in time, im gonna LEAVE and take your car to my shop!" .My husband and children drove my mom to ATM at Circle K in patterson (a mile from her home, three miles from the tow location) and got the money and met him back at her house, where he dropped her car off in the entrance of her yard (right smack in the entrance). Im not sure if it was because we were of African descent but he made the situation more depressing that anything! we were thankful but the treatment was uncalled for and nasty in nature. Dont call him if youre a POC...unless youre DESPERATE. He isnt kind. :(

Cody Parks I perceived Mark’s Auto & Collision as a wholesome, small town business that took care of their work with pride, but unfortunately this was not entirely the case. It’s best to start with the positives of working with Mark’s, and the reasons that they are receiving two stars instead of one. At the time, I worked a few minutes up the road, and Mark’s asked me to drop off the vehicle that day. We agreed I would drop it off before work on that week’s Monday. When I arrived at Mark’s, I asked if they would not mind driving me to work, “I work just up the road at Distribution.” Mark’s son had no issue giving me a ride. They also worked on the price—a repair on the passenger and driver door from a driveway mishap—for the individual paying for the damage. This is where positives stopped with this establishment. As I mentioned, Mark’s had me deliver the vehicle to them on the Monday. All of the needed parts were ordered before bringing the vehicle in, so all that Mark’s needed to do was paint match the doors, fix, install them correctly, and fix a dent under the driver’s door. I called Wednesday, and I was told Mark’s was unable to get to my vehicle yet, but I could pick it up on Friday. This miscommunication was becoming predictable as the business did something similar regarding the initial service date. Mark’s initially told me I could bring the vehicle in, in the middle of July. Mark’s dragged this date out without ever calling to inform. It was always a single way street of me reaching out to the business to get any updates. When I did finally go pick the vehicle up, I noticed two small, deep scratches on the hood that I didn’t recognize when I initially dropped it off. I asked Mark’s son if he knew anything about it, and after he went in to get the vehicle’s keys he informed me, “My dad’s not here, but I can get him to call you back.” I told him it was no worry, I was just curious and left for work.
Over the course of the last year, there has been an issue with my car detecting my key inside the car that was not present before the door replacement. In my make and model of car, it is very easy to incorrectly install the door and cause concerns with this sensor. I would have returned to Mark’s to have the issue addressed, but Mark—the business owner himself—informed the other party ,upon payment, that I would be trespassed for returning. Not only was the door not installed correctly, but the damage to the lower frame of the car was not repaired. If dealing with Mark’s Auto & Collision, be wary of Mark’s work and the service(s) they provide.
