1 /5 Mark Easler: You would have to be a fool to open an account with Wells Fargo. The government has warned you, their ex- employees have warned you and Im warning you. If there is a worst bank and organization than this I simply dont know and honestly cant imagine it would be possible. Their fees are epic and comprise 28-30% of their operating income...that should tell you something. Their offices in Sandersville GA look like a Russian Immigration processing center. The employees are just punching the clock until they can find another job. I finally had enough when I was charged a fee to deposit cash into my account...yup, you heard that correctly. A $12 fee for depositing cash into my business account. When I objected the WF employee pulled out a dog-eared brochure and pointed to the light grey fine print under a picture that validated the charge. No one said anything about the charge when I started the transaction. The branch manager apologized for this and gave me a $3 credit toward the $12 fee. A week later, after receiving 3 calls trying to connect I got a call from their customer prevention department asking if there was anything she could do to help me waive my complaint. I said give me the $12 back. She said she could not do that and ask if there was anything else she could do...I said, why dont you sit and spin until you die. Avoid these ppl like toxic waste. Buy some mason jars and bury your money in the garden. You can thank me for telling you later.
