  • The Training Room ATL. - Atlanta
John Martin: Ive been training with Sam Braxton for a little over six months and can confidently recommend both his training and The Training Rooms facilities. Im a competitive volleyball player who has been dealing with knee pain for six years. Ive tried a bunch of different trainers, physical therapists, and online programs with mixed results over that time period. Training with Sam is the first time in years that I havent felt like I had to choose between pain management and maximizing performance. Hes extremely knowledgeable and adaptable to whatever the volleyball season throws at me, whether thats elbow, shoulder, ankle, or hip pain. Im jumping better than ever without being forced to limit my practice time by my knees. TTRs space is also excellent. Theres a really impressive variety of equipment, and you can basically always get whatever you need for your specific workout.
    Planet Fitness - Stone Mountain

Ene Ekoja: I have been a Black Card member at Planet Fitness for over 10 years and have visited numerous locations across the country. Unfortunately, this is the first time I have experienced such poor treatment from staff. Upon arrival, I was informed that I needed to update my backup payment of which I was unaware. I explained to the three employees at the front desk that I did not have my physical card with me at the time but would update it as soon as I returned home. Despite this, I was told I could not use the facilities until the backup payment information was updated. Determined to stay on track with my fitness goals, I was eventually able to locate my card information and update the account immediately. After resolving the issue, I proceeded to the StairMaster to begin my workout. Within a minute, the same staff member from the front desk approached me from behind the machine to address me. This interaction was not only discourteous, but also unsafe, as engaging someone from behind while they are actively using exercise equipment poses a risk of injury. A safer and more professional approach would have been to wait until I had finished or to address me from the front. I respectfully ask that management review this incident with the staff and provide guidance on appropriate and safe ways to interact with members when concerns arise. As a long-standing and loyal member, I was deeply disappointed by this experience and hope steps will be taken to ensure that future interactions uphold the professionalism and welcoming environment Planet Fitness is known for.
Highland Yoga - Decatur - Decatur
Michelle Andotra: I’ve been at Highland Yoga for a few years now and love it. The teachers are excellent, the workout is hard (or not, depending on what style you pick), the class offerings are abundant, there are location choices across the city, there’s truly nothing to complain about! I truly look forward to every class. It has become a sacred space for me in this ever hectic and crazy world.
    Powerlady Fitness - Atlanta
Rebecca Anderson: I love this place. Becky is an excellent trainer. The gym is clean, quiet, and all of the equipment you need is there.

Helen: Lovely studio and staff ❤️ The parking was super easy and the studio is easy to find (I have been going to a few different places and I know sometimes it can be a headache). The studio is very family friendly with a kids playroom and changing tables in the bathrooms. The bathrooms are clean and big. There is a water refill but no water fountain (I think). There are lockers for your stuff with a key that you can take with you. In my class, some of the students rocked barefoot so its NOT like some of those studios that will try to sell you overpriced sticky socks if you dont bring your own. Lastly, they offered a towel if you need one for your workout which is sweet and unlike anything Ive seen at other similar places.
    Club Pilates - Decatur
Sophie "STARR" Felix: I’m in my third month of Pilates and I love it! Any class with Aisha is absolutely amazing! Aisha’s classes are fun and they help me reach my wellness goals of building muscle, strength, and endurance. I’ve really noticed a difference in how I feel and how I look. It’s been an awesome experience for me!
Brick House Strength & Conditioning - Atlanta
Kevin Deas: Brickhouse Strength & Conditioning is hands down one of the best gyms I’ve ever been a part of. I absolutely love this place. The entire community is supportive and committed to helping you on your fitness journey. Danielle and Jeremy are extremely knowledgeable about every part of the body, and they always keep the environment fun, friendly, and motivating. I also love all the different exercises we do, these are workouts I’d never do on my own, but they push me in a great way. The gym is always clean, and everyone takes pride in cleaning up after themselves. There’s no ego lifting here. From the moment you walk in, the whole team treats you like family. Pierre is also an amazing trainer. His classes are intense, challenging, and a lot of fun. If you’re looking for a supportive, clean, family-oriented gym with excellent trainers, this is the place. Highly recommend.
    Urban Body Fitness - Atlanta
Nick (Nwill20): So far this has been a great experience. Fair price for what this gym offers including showers. no membership lock (cancel any time) and very flexible if you need to pause it. They do have limit in the availability for membership and to be honest this is by far my favorite part as this gym full but never cramped which is one of the issues with others gyms. Last but not least as of right now current staff is chill and helpful if you have any questions. One thing Id improve, is to integrate membership availability count widget on website and when next open sign up window is, as it took me about 2 months to get spot by constantly checking with stuff.
    Dodge Fitness - Eastman
Andrew Lownsberry: Its pretty damn groovy
    Team Havoc Fitness - Eastman
Mariella Douglas: Joining this gym has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my health and confidence. As a woman, walking into a gym—especially one that focuses on functional fitness—can be a little intimidating at first. But from day one, I felt welcomed, supported, and empowered. The coaches are knowledgeable, encouraging, and truly take the time to understand your goals. Whether its improving strength, mobility, or just overall wellness, they meet you where youre at and push you (safely!) to grow. I’ve gained muscle, improved my endurance, and most importantly, feel stronger and more capable in everyday life. What I really love is the community. There’s no ego here—just a group of people cheering each other on, regardless of fitness level. I never feel judged, only inspired. It’s empowering to be surrounded by other strong women (and men!) lifting, jumping, sweating, and smiling through it all. If you’re looking for a gym that will challenge you, support you, and celebrate your progress, this is the one. I’m not just fitter—I’m more confident, happier, and truly proud of what my body can do. Ladies (and fellas), don’t hesitate. You deserve to feel this good!
