Coastal Pines Technical College - Waycross (Main Campus) - Waycross Unknown: My experience at this school has been extremely disappointing. From the beginning, I encountered a complete lack of support and guidance. Whenever I had questions or concerns, the responses were often “I’m not sure”, “I don’t know”,or “Someone else will have to help with this” leaving me to navigate issues on my own. I was frequently passed around to different staff members, none of whom were equipped to assist me effectively, and I never received support from a dedicated student advisor.
Compounding these issues, my financial aid was denied 3-4 days before the deadline on two separate occasions due to errors on their part. Despite my efforts to ensure everything was in order WEEKS in advance, I was told that nothing could be done about the mistake. This level of incompetence is unacceptable.
The one class I was able to take lacked proper instruction from the professor, forcing me to rely on self-teaching and external resources. Given the $750 out-of-pocket expense, this was not worth the price.
I strongly advise against enrolling at this institution. Save your time, money, and sanity.
