BestRate Auto Insurance - Statesboro Felecia Mccollum: I was with this company for three yrs. My policy was cancelled because they made a mistake with my payment. I wanted to start a new policy, so i got them to do me another quote because i had recently purchased a new vehicle. They quoted me $225 to get started with progressive,and $175 every month. I decided to wait until the next day and called progressive myself. I was ready to pay the $225 which I was quoted for at best rate. Long story short. I didnt have to pay 225 starter fee, and my payments was not $175 a month but $150. I did not have pay anything to get started. I ask the progressive agent why did i have to put so much down to the previous agent he said,"they got to get paid too ". I felt so cheated and disappointed. To me Bestrate is a rip off. It’s easier and cheaper to find your own car insurance!
