1 /5 Lewis Robinson: In 2021, I took out a loan to commence renovations on my home. After two years of optimal payment history, my industry began to show signs of distress. To be proactive, I took out a loan to pad my account, however, soon after was faced with unforeseen circumstances (grandmother fell ill), that drastically impacted my income (being that I am self employed). I received a call from the branch manager, who commenced the call in a condescending and rude tone. I shared with her that I took full ownership in my late payment, however, had seen over a 53% cut in my income and would bring the account current when possible. Instead of providing empathy, etc, she berated me as if I was lying, etc. I understand that in this industry, they may be faced with individuals who hide from their responsibilities. However, I told her that just as Id maintained impeccable payment history prior to October of 2023, I am a man of integrity and would rectify my account as soon as possible. Once again, she did not care, and continued to call with threatening tone and again, rude condescending comments. Once I pay this account off, I will NEVER use this institution again. The sad part is, I do not think they care about bad reviews. However, I will escalate this as high as I can, hopefully shining light on the consistent feedback that clearly speaks to the lack of professionalism that this branch manager and her staff (Megan) exudes. At some point, quality must return to the service industry.
