    Cory Anderson: My son started training at SBG when he was 4 years old. He started out in the micro monkeys with coach Katrina and now he is in the spider monkeys group with coach Blackmon. He went from standing in the corner the very first lesson observing everything to holding his own in the gorilla cup with a 3rd place finish. He has competed in 3 gorilla cups, and to be honest after the first 2 I was really questioning whether or not jui jitsu was for him. Coach Blackmon told me to trust the process and I saw a completely different kid on the mat yesterday. His confidence in his abilities is higher than ever, and as a parent Im so proud of everything he has accomplished. I would recommend SBG to anyone, and have witnessed first hand the good results it creates in a kids life. He has been doing this for 2 years and we couldnt be happier with our choice. Thank you SBG

    Lisa Campagna: This summer, after 7 years, we switched from a different local pool to Summer Hill, and so far we are so happy with that decision! After having my boys swim with ABSC over the past 3 years, I am not at all surprised by the level of communication, organization and professionalism they bring to SH. Both pool locations offer a family friendly environment and a great community for our family to spend time with this summer!

    Liesje Smith: Fuel people are so welcoming and friendly. The studio is fully equipped with everything you need. There are a few varieties of classes, but the Hot 60 and 90 helps install a flow of routine and regularity as a baseline through most classes that is very calming to my nervous system. I like knowing what is happening in the next moment. So rare a reality in this world. I like focusing on myself in the mirror. It helps me find myself on a daily basis. I like to sweat and come out feeling cleaner. I like that there are showers available and that the place is uplifted, friendly, beautiful and clean.

    K: Ive trained at Megalodon for six years now! Ive trained at quite a few gyms around the area but Im very proud to call this one home. A few things to note- Amazing training environment for all levels with teammates that push you to grow to your full potential. Coaching and instruction are top notch- Coaches go out of their way to make sure students succeed and dont ask for a thing in return except to work your hardest. All the coaches actively compete and train with students so they practice what they preach and push themselves. Clean & spacious facilities with tons of mat space. Classes are large and youll have plenty of training partners to choose from. Solid foundation of upper belts. If youre new, youre in very good hands. If youre experienced, youre gonna have some incredible training partners that will push you. Plenty of specialists with deep roots in judo/wrestling/etc. Many of the members are well established and this is the pond with all the big fish youre looking for. The gym has people from all ages and backgrounds and no matter if youre experienced or brand new, theres something here for you. Pricing is competitive and very good, you cant beat it for what youre getting. No contract hell or any of that mess. Discounts are also offered for LE/First Responders/Students so ask about that. No weird/overly restrictive rules. The gym maintains a healthy atmosphere and its a great place to train. We have an outstanding kids program that will push your child to grow in many positive ways. Theres some incredible athletes that have come out of this program and will continue to, our kids coaches are outstanding and great at what they do and lead by example. Theres something going on every day and quite a few open mats/practices during the week outside of normal classes. People are always training so theres no lack of training opportunities. I run our Sunday Open mat and its a watering hole for the Athens area grapplers, every Sunday at 6:30! Get out here and train!
