  • Reeves Jewelry & Gold Buyer - Athens
Laura Chapman: We recently purchased a replacement wedding set from Reeves jewelry because the diamond in my original set fell out while I was working in the yard 2+ years ago! Greg Reeves was so kind and helpful in scheduling my visit (I live in Alpharetta, GA) and offering guidance as I selected my new wedding set design. I was able to select a new look with a larger diamond (more carats) than my original set for a great price. We decided upon lab grown diamonds and got a great deal costing barely $100 more than what my husband paid for my original mined diamond set in 1996! Mary Alex also did a wonderful job shopping around to get the best deal for a fabulous looking diamond and ring set for us. She also did this extremely quickly and I had my new ring within a few weeks! Thank you, Reeves Jewelry, for a great shopping experience and for the wonderful service!

Lynn Boyd: Have had several experiences with Culbreth Jewelers and I can tell you that Ed is the best around! Sized my mothers ring that was passed to me after 2 days after another jeweler had it 61/2 weeks and never could get the right fit. Put new clasps on, taken out links in charm bracelet and cleaned all of my jewelry to where it looks brand new! Everything he does is quality! I wont ever be going anywhere else. Prices are reasonable and Ed is the nicest guy to do business with. Exceptional customer service!
    KAY Jewelers - Athens
LaFaye Brittany (Britbrat): My boyfriend and I had a great experience with Mrs. Michelle Cooper last week. Went in to pick up a pair of earrings that were ordered for our daughter the day before and ended up getting her another set while in the store. We had a great time with you. Also, thank you for helping me with the looking at rings. I was able to see what I liked a little better. Thank you for a great experience!

Manabendra Ray: Best collection of semi precious stones and minerals that I ever visited. Both polished and raw. Curved speciality items. There are also Tarot and many other things sourced from all over the world. The collection is wonderful. I could touch, feel and choose rather than photos on the big online stores which most of the time do not match. I already visited twice. First alone and then again with my daughter. The price is very competitive even with big brand online stores. I will be back again on my next visit to the US.
    The Pearl Girls - Athens
M.R. Loyd: My mom had a pair of earrings that had a post that broke. I contacted the pearl girls to see about trying to rescue this pair of Beautiful pearl earrings. Shonda Was so helpful and so incredibly efficient in helping me get these repaired. She gave me several options. She helped in Giving detailed pricing information and was very communicative through the whole process. Once the repair was done, we got them very quickly. The cost was Competitive, but the work was outstanding. My mom was so pleased with the way they turned out. This is not the first time that I’ve had the pearl girls make something for me nor is it the first time I’ve purchased something from them. I am a repeat customer and have been satisfied every time!
    Antiques & Jewels - Athens
Lindsay Campbell: Stopped by looking for nice vintage jewelry and this was the place! Karen was a lovely lady to help us find what we were looking for. My only complaint would be that the jewelry was not the condition she stated. She claimed she looked over all of her jewelry, and on my specific piece there was absolutely no wear and tear, only to walk outside in better light to see the clear wear and tear. In between the chain links there was black dirt that i could just wipe off, leading me to make the assumption that she does not clean her jewelry. She did not tell us what the jewelry was made of until we asked only to find out it was brass with gold coating, as she tried to tell it was 100% gold. Despite this, i still bought the bracelet as i loved it so much. A very minor complaint but still significant to me, she told us it was $120, my boyfriend pulls out $120 CASH and she rings him up and says “128.40” he handed her $130 and we walked out. As an antique store and a small business, it felt unnecessary and just an extra fee for no reason, all of the items are resale items and have already been paid tax on, very disappointing that you still rung him up anyways.

Betsy Gotch: Definitely not Just Jewelry! It is such a great craftsman hidden gem! I have hosted my family a ceramics building party at Spark! I also found really creative stickers of cats as well as body and wellness products! So many gifts are available, like 3d dragons! Shop local or drop in while your near by!
    Continental Jewelers - Athens
Hamp: I recently purchased a silver chain from this jewelry shop, and I absolutely love it! The craftsmanship is impeccable and the design is both elegant and timeless. The customer service was outstanding—they made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. I highly recommend this shop to anyone in search of beautiful, quality jewelry. Five stars all around!
    Indie South - Athens
Molly Harris: I have been shopping here for 3 years. Ive always loved it there, but today was different. @3:50pm on Saturday, I came in and was greeted. I said hello, no problem there, but i couldnt find an oil that i got last time there. The girl acted like she didnt know what i was talking about, so i explained it to her. I know products change often, but the way she was acting was like i didnt know what i was talking about. Then proceeded to say the only body oil we have is right there after the third time explaining it to her. It was the oil i wanted, but too big, i asked her if it was all you had and she acted like i was inconveniencing her. Thats poor service. Im in retail so i know what uts like,so i was being nice, she should have given me the kindness. Her vibe was way off, it made me uncomfortable and so I left after buying the big bottle. Normally i stick around to see whats new, but her negative vibe filled the room.
Gateway Jewelry & Pawn - Athens
Ken Chandler: The overall experience was great. The cashier was a great help, she walked me through the pricing of gold and let me know what it was that I could get elsewhere. Thats not something most pawn places even dare to do,gateway is definitely an asset to the community.
