Lamar County Family Services Department - Barnesville Sherry Blackwell: I am 53 years old and I have never come across anything as sickening has this department including the people that work there. Why remove children that are happy, grade are wonderful, feed, clothed and above all loved and with FAMILY. In short, their mother is in jail, so their 27 yr old cousin steps up and starts to raise them they are 14 and 9. Not exactly babies. But because their cousin is GAY, WHITE, and has money. And went ubove DFAC employees heads, because THEY were not doing their job, they decide to retaliate against her. She would not stand still for incompetence nor the lack of knowledge. DFAC decides to come up with some BS, and shows up at 6:30 on a Friday night to "replace" the kids. REALLY.....Then DFAC say because there has been an allegation that the 14 year old boy is sexually active ., SERIOUSLY......what 14yr boy is not wondering or even trying it. Bottom line is the three women got their butts in trouble for not doing their job CORRECTLY. Had a problem from the beginning with the cousin being gay. Can we say this nothing but pure hate a retaliation. Well LAMAR county will be hold accountable for their action, this cousin will not lay down for this, family is family and this family does have the money for a great lawyer......this place is a joke
