South Georgia Bank - Claxton Teryl Wadley: I went inside the bank and closed a checking account in December 2022. Not only did they not close the account, when I called them to address the issue, they acted like it was a simple mistake and somehow my fault. They were unapologetic and still won’t close the account. They told me I need to pay a fee and then come back inside to have the account closed. It is not my fault that the teller did not do what I told her to do in December and that was close the account. In my opinion, they should have addressed the teller but instead, they blamed me. I will be filing a complaint. I do not recommend anyone do business with this bank.
