1 /5 Lorraine Norris: I will not say anything about Jessica, she is awesome. My husband & I have been at least 20 year customers. His last one is paid for. I myself got an equinox late July 2022.. 3 weeks into driving it the front end was making all sorts of noise. I took it by there and Tom said he would have it checked out. Twice more I took it in to Jeff. Each time he said the calipers needed greasing. It’d stop for a while but then come right back.. I took it back February 5th for Jeff to check out again and told him my husband was starting to worry about me driving it.. it actually sat in my yard most of January. During the 5 months before getting this ride I test drove 3, a Lincoln hybrid that Lisa told me she wouldn’t have one so I backed off.. I trusted her after dealing with them for so long! The next was a dodge charger. Lisa said because I had a bad back I didn’t need that (same price as the equinox) and refused to finance it. Next Jessica called me about a mustang.. Thankfully Lisa wasn’t there that day! I drove it 24 hrs and fell in love! When I went back to sign the paperwork Tom had the equinox pulled out and said it was a voluntary repo and I should check it out, needless to say the heated seats were amazing and my husband agreed it would be better so I went with it. Now back to getting it fixed. Jeff calls me February 6th and tells me it just needs to be greased up again.. seriously?!?! I told him that was just putting a bandaid on the problem and not fixing it! The first three times my ride was still under warranty! This time if anything else was done I would have to pay out of pocket!?!? It should have been fixed the first time! You would think being a long time customer we would have been treated better! I told Jeff about the warranty situation and I had looked up some laws.. they were either to fix it.. replace it with something of equal value or buy it back.. Tom told Jeff I had tried out about 20 vehicles before taking the equinox.. no only 3! And the texts I have on my phone from Lisa are very ugly! I have spoken with 2 lawyers in the meantime because I told them I would not be taking the vehicle back if it wasn’t fixed right.. now it makes me wonder why the first person brought it back?!? But regardless I called the service department and had everything that’s been done to the ride sent to email and printed out. Now the lawyer has everything and is getting a case together. Lisa text me to tell me to give him her number, I will not!
Jeff says talk to Lisa.. Lisa says Rob is my boss, who has not returned any of my phone calls! Who’s really the boss here??? I had a total of 2600 in this ride and only asked for 1000 back to go towards something else & was refused that. Lisa texted me and said, I suggest you save money to fix your car!! I was not behind on any payments and actually the last payment I made, I paid 2 so I would be ahead! I’ve have never been so blown away by this kind of treatment or how everything was handled! Like I said, we were faithful customers since J&R first opened.
