Fitness Connection - Stone Mountain Shanelle Lindo: I came to the gym with the intentions of getting a guest pass and ended up with a membership! I was thoroughly impressed with the gyms cleanliness, equipment and energy. The manager on site Princess, was extremely friendly! She had a welcoming personality and answered all my questions and concerns. I look forward to continuing my fitness journey here.
LA Fitness - Decatur Jeff Moody: The lack of security at this gym shows the organizations negligence in protecting its members. On Friday November 29, 2024 after an altercation on the basketball court gun shots could be heard from the gyms parking lot. On December 21, 2024 there was an auto break-in that resulted in property damage to 3 vehicles and a firearm being stolen. This adds to the long list of crimes that have been and continue to be frequently committed on this property. Fitness International and/or franchise owners are not doing enough to protect its paying members. Even the security cameras that are installed on the building are useless because they do not provide playback. Without security I am afraid something more drastic is going to occur on this property. I am sure this is not the only LA Fitness location that could benefit from security. As members of this location we have to demand impactful change.
