His laser equipment is less painful and invasive than traditional dentistry. Melissa, my hygienist, is very gentle. I’m really glad I switched dentists. I feel that they are providing the very best dental care. I appreciate their efforts to make all visits as pain- and anxiety-free as possible!

Zachary Buffington Went in to get xray and tooth removal. Nurses were great and fast. Dr was very informative and she gave me options of what can be done instead of just removal, meant allot. Didnt feel any pain and was very comfortable the whole time. Definitely our family dentist for now on.

He says that he never sees the Dentist Betsy Ayers, always an older gentleman that my husband says is wonderful. Hes gentle and were both products of military dentistry so weve seen scary dentists up close and personal. If he said tomorrow that he wasnt happy with this practice, Id pull him out but again hes thoroughly pleased with the dentist he sees in Dr Ayers office.

Vicky Ayers I have a family member who is in desperate need of dental care and is low income. Doing an internet search and asking for dental care.for low-income patients in the Carrollton area produced this clinics phone number. As soon as the staff member answered the phone I asked very politely if they care for low income patients.and she said no. So I politely asked her if she could give me a resource in carroll county of a dental clinic that assisted indigent patients. She said, no, she didnt really know about that. And I asked her if she cared, because the tone seemed a little snooty. I explained I. was trying to help a family member who does not have it and is in severe need. She said she cared, but they just dont know about that. I calmly told her that I understood if they dont take indigent patients or sliding scale. Etc. But if they really care about the dental health in the community, it would probably be a good idea for future reference to keep the name of the dental clinic that provides care because this is very difficult sometimes for the community to find this information, even with an internet search. She proceeded to tell me that she is not a phone book and hung up on me!!!! This tells me the true nature of people. Like I said... very snooty. Based on this treatment over the phone I would definitely not recommend this dental clinic for anyone.

The girls up front, the dental assistants and the dentist have all been amazing each time I’ve come in. 100000% would recommend. UPDATE: a year later and all done with my “clear correct” & I’d still give this office 5 stars! My teeth came out perfect. And besides that all the girls that work in the office have gone above & beyond. Every single time I come in everyone is so sweet and helpful. Thanks dr Forrest!

Ashley Sims I have SERIOUS anxiety around going to the dentist but had to go in for a toothache. I saw Dr. Daniel and Lindsay and they were so kind but when they said I needed a root canal today- I was a bit worried. Hoeever, Dr. Araj and Maya took such good care of me. I’ve had fillings from other dentists that hurt more than this root canal. And 8 hours later, still no pain!! I can NOT recommend them enough!

Georgia Evans Have been there twice. Never again. Last visit was in December with Dr. Syeda. She was rude, in the room for 3 minutes max, and told me one tooth needed extracting and one needed a root canal. I asked questions, but got very limited answers. I asked about any other issues. Told things were good, without her looking at anything other than ex-rays. Walked out with 2 referrals. A week later a totally different tooth broke off at the gum. Went to Newnan for root canal. Then went to dentist in Marietta for next steps. Told that the root canal tooth had so much decay, that it should have been extracted ($1700- root canal down the drain). Told the tooth that Southern Dental said needed extracting may not be an issue. Syeda was awful and money wasted. First visit was with Dr. Monica. She was nice and seemed thorough. She referred me to a person in Douglasville for an implant. It was obvious that there were numerous referrals being made to Douglasville from Southern Dental ( to buddy, buddy). When I was hesitant to schedule the procedure. That dentist in Douglasville suddenly offered to do implants next morning at 7:00 am for a discount. I felt like it was a racket and never when back. How many dentist can suddenly see you the next morning for a non- emergency and discount.

Kristie Murphy This clinic needs to hire people who know how to communicate with patients instead of waiting 2 weeks to let someone know that they have changed their policies. Not everyone has time to waste on making a doctors appointment only to be told they cant see you because now they do things differently.

Ashley Hensley Very unprofessional. Have messed my mothers prescriptions up several times to where she’s had to go through withdrawals on her meds til they decide to get the prescriptions right. She also has vented to me several times about how rude the receptionist are when she goes in and how long it takes for someone to answer the phone whenever she calls. Very disappointed and would not refer anyone to this place.

Melissa Goldthwaite Ive been going here for YEARS. Ive watched it change a lot. Most of the staff that has worked here, have been kind and caring. I currently like the doctor they have, but the dragon at the desk that has made, Im sure, many a life miserable, needs to work on her people skills. Its a community medical center. These people are coming here for help because they cant afford insurance or Healthcare. Maybe you should rethink your career choice if you dont actually like people. Just saying.

Wayne Rampley I had been going to the previous dentist for years. And this year in January I needed to setup a new appointment and called to find out they had sold to Dr Widener I went to have my cleaning and it went great. I also had a tooth break and had to go today to have it fixed. I can honestly say this was the first time I have ever had a tooth fixed that there was absolutely no pain at all. I would most definitely recommend them.

Molden Len “Jessica” My husband was in the office for 3 hours between the wait and what the staff called an "examination". Originally he went to get a cleaning and a consultation on a couple of teeth that needed work. After the xray, they refused to do the cleaning and told us our insurance didnt cover it, which was a total lie! Then they told him he needed a deep cleaning. To top it off they told us that our insurance was horrible, and that we needed to consider getting a new plan, yet they over charged our insurance for a cleaning, the exam, and the xray...of which only one service (xray) was completed. The insurance covered all but $82.00. This office literally got paid for services not rendered. Horrible billing and customer service.

D M Just beware that this office is NOT in network for ANY insurance plan. Plus they consistently charge above Usual and Customary. I love the office, love the people, but I dont know with 6 of us having to pay a large out of network deductible and all the above U and C costs out of pocket if we can continue to go. We may have to find an in network dentist.

Doc Calhoun has very reasonable prices, unlike most dentists. I recently moved to Alabama and I still make the 1.5 hour drive just to see these great folks. Do yourself a favor and start seeing Doc Calhoun for all your dental needs.

Bill Dr. Calhoun and his employees are great! My family has had regular cleanings and various dental procedures done over the years, including crowns and root canals, with excellent results. Everyone in Dr. Calhouns office is very welcoming and good at creating a calm atmosphere for both children and adults!

She said no problem, and did exactly that...and GAVE ME MY SMILE BACK!!! She and her staff are very compassionate, caring, understanding and sweet. They treated my son and I like we were family.
